letzten tagen mit cat

Of course, Cat and I spent a few more days during the week in Berlin.

Charlottenburg Palace:

I really don't know how, but I was in a bad mood after leaving this beautiful area. Cat and I walked to get a döner, which we decided deserves its own fan club, holiday, or something. It is really the most delicious street food. Long story short, I was happier to stroll around the city after my döner.
Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche: the church destroyed in WWII stands beside a modern church as a contrast of destruction/construction
The church has a unique feeling inside - we liked it.

She didn't want to take this picture, but I insisted. She will thank me later. It was a day/evening for the books... we were especially wity or just dilusionally tired, but either way, our jokes commanded hearty laughs well into the night.

Next day - met up after class, went for drinks, and then to a spring break party. Somehow, we met some lawyers who enjoyed speaking German with us. One told me that I need to speak more agressively with each syllable... that should be fun.

Next morning - wished I hadn't gone out, but still did well in class. Met Cat on Brandenburger Strasse for shopping, döner (naturally), and frozen yogurt. We decided that since it was her last day (and that I was a trooper going to class) that it was a time for celebration. The day became Eistag Dönerfest: silly and appropriate. I took a long nap while Cat did laundry and woke up to put a cherry on top of Cat's visit.
